Farmhouse Room

Our Farmhouse Room has a Double bed and takes you back in time when things were much less complicated.  The original iron bed is adorned with a quilt and shams made from different cloths in different shades of blue.  A throw is hanging on the wall with the same colors as the bedspread, but pieced with different material.

There is a bathroom in the room with a shower.  A pioneer dress and bonnet and a child’s dress from the 1800’s is displayed.  A pair of baby shoes belonging to the owner sits on top of a wall shelf over the bed.  Milk bottles and wood shoe forms are placed on the writing desk and over the desk.  There is an adjoining door to the Barn Room if there is a need for this type of sleeping arrangement.
